Africa 2008

We are so excited for our upcoming Humanitarian Mission this November in Kakamega, Kenya.

Our first meeting was last week in Lindon. We talked about the flight that will last a day and a half, about all the shoots in the butt and arms and about all that we will be doing.

There is going to be two teams, a medical and a outreach team. The medical team will spend their time in the hospital, the outreach team travels to different villages, schools and orphanages. We do what ever is needed. Whether it is educating or digging latrines!

Many of you are coming to this site because of the letter or email you received. Thanks for taking the time to look us up and follow our progress. It is our goal to keep everyone updated as we get closer to our departure and then help you be a part of the mission. We want you to be able to see what a great effect your donations have.

We are working hard on a brand new website, www.hartonline.com and it will be up by April. The old site is hartafrica.com. It has some cool pictures and a little history.

I included a short video of our last trip. It is great to see the effect HART and these trips have on others and by others I mean both those in the countries we travel and those volunteering their time. Please take advantage of any opportunity you have to be a part of something like HART.

Click to "donate", we have tried to make it easy for you to help HART and the people we serve. HART is a 501c3 which means anything you give can be tax deductible. Our GOAL is to raise $15,000 for HART by November. Just be sure to send me an email so I can get you the tax info if you are going to declare it to the IRS.
