All Goats Go to Heaven.....RIGHT?

Yesterday a tragedy fell upon me.

My dear little friend past away.
I would be lying if I said I didn't shed loads of tears....
because I did.
Some of you may remember this post,
& are fully aware of my 7 year love of little Scape.

When I brought her home upon being told
"No Goat" by my parents.
....the whole introduction to the uninvited member of the Williamson family,
actually went quite well.
(Of course, after sound of a crying baby subsided from the backyard.)

After she won over the families hearts
she slowly won over all the neighbors as well.

I would take her for walks and...
she would trot behind me,
sneaking bites of flowers and plants .

Scape would load up in the bed of the truck for a BBQ up the canyon,
with the rest of the Williamson's,
spending time grazing,
getting into things she wasn't supposed to
& constantly having to be guarded from,
hopping up on the picnic table & eating the dinner.

She was always so much fun &
when I was living in Mapleton
anytime I went here and there she was to be found
in the bed of my truck catching the breeze.

I am so sad she is no longer with us,
I miss her so much already.

Scape was a good pet...
a special pet
& I actually can say
I am so glad I disobeyed my parents and brought her home!!
She has brought many priceless
hilarious

memories to our family!

Just remember tortilla chips in Heaven. :o) I'm sure she was glad that you disobeyed your parents and all good reason and brought her home. She was one lucky goat!

I love that you were obeying all traffic laws when you were hit by a car while riding your bike!
I'm pretty sad to hear that you got hit by a car though...
And by the way, thanks for the wonderful christmas countdown from my fabulous visiting teachers!
