So during our super fun pumpkin picking,
I lost something.
yep.
Weird I know....
Guess what I lost.
MY WEDDING RING!
It couldn't of happened in a worse vegetable I tell ya.

I thought it would be a piece of cake to find.
We didn't really walk to far through the patch.
BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!
It WAS NOT A PIECE OF CAKE.
Thanks to my detective skills,
I narrowed down the area.

Zell and I went out to the patch a few times the next day to find the little bugger.
I didn't have any luck.
It seemed like a near impossible feat.
I started to accept the fact my ring was gone.
The next day was our 5 year anniversary.
What timing to lose your wedding ring.
ha ha
So the morning of our anniversary,
Kris was persistent on heading out to look for it bright and early.
I wasn't thrilled about it but the three of us headed out to the patch.
Metal detector in hand.
( yes, Kerianne happened to have connections to a metal detector, she really is the greatest )
As we are searching the field ,

two little boys about 8 ride their bikes through the field
They stop and are playing around and a few minutes later we hear,
"Sir, excuse me Sir, I just found a wedding ring!"
WHAT!!!!!
And just like that, on our anniversary,
My wedding ring was found!!!

Even though the two little boys refused,
My Mr. Kris gave the boys $20 and they peddled off as fast as their legs would take them.
It was such a happy morning.
Couldn't have been a better anniversary,
looking for my wedding ring in a pumpkin patch.
:)
I love you Mr. Kris
and
I love my cute little special family.
